In April 2010 Cornell University Library commemorates the 100th anniversary of the death of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, the author known to the world as Mark Twain, with an exhibition featuring the Mark Twain collection of Susan Jaffe Tane. On display will be books, manuscripts, letters, photographs, and other materials that celebrate the life and work of this American icon. In addition to being the famous writer, popular lecturer, and global celebrity Mark Twain, Samuel Clemens was also a businessman, publisher, inventor, and investor.
