![]() Upcoming Events & Exhibitions:June 5, 2008A Very Short History of Wine in America 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Thomas Pinney, noted wine historian and author of the two-volume A History of Wine in America, will give a lecture that will explore the origins of viticulture in Europe and the development of wine making in America. This event corresponds with the opening of the exhibition, “Song of the Vine: a History of Wine” in the Carl A. Kroch Library’s Hirshland Gallery. Cornell Library’s rare books, manuscripts, photographs, and other artifacts on wine and viticulture will be on view.
