HRC’s Changing Issues

HRC has been actively involved in numerous issues, both conducting public education through its research arm and pressing for legislative change. In 2006, projects of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation included the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Outreach Program, the Family Project, the Workplace Project, the National Coming Out Project, the Religion and Faith Program, and the HRC Research Institute. In addition, HRC has worked on issues relating to health, hate crimes, immigration, judicial nominations, marriage, the military, privacy, and transgender people.
