The collection consists of sixteen (16) photographs by Margaret Bourke-White. Subjects include the steel, oil, munitions, paper, aluminum, grain, fruit, dairy, and lumber industries, a turbine on the USS Maryland, women workers duirng WWII and astronomer Walter Adams with Mt. Wilson telescope.

Biographical / Historical

Margaret Bourke-White was born June 14, 1904, in the Bronx, New York. She was an American photographer and documentary photographer. She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1927.
