The project includes 25 audio cassettes, 26 master copy CDs, 26 service copy CDs,
3 reel-to-reel tapes, and 3 transcripts.These interviews were conducted with veterinarians,
faculty of the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine, and others regarding the development
of veterinary medicine and practice in the United States as well as recollections
of events in the history of the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University.

Interviews were originally done by Ellis P. Leonard, Emeritus Professor of Small Animal
Surgery, beginning in 1972, for his use in writing a history of the New York State
College of Veterinary Medicine. Leonard interviewed Donald W. Baker, August 27, 1975;
Arthur Gordon Danks, August 6, 1979; H. H. Dukes, August 8, 1973 (original tape and
transcript available); Myron G. Fincher, June 8, 1972 (original tape and transcript
only); Philip P. Levine, 1978; Floyd C. Sager, January 24, 1974 (original tape and
transcript available); Luella Williams, ca. 1975; and Elmer Woelfer, September 22,
1978.

May 7, 2004. Additionally, Laura Finkel and Susanne Whitaker interviewed Alexander
Winter on April 29, 2004. At Reunion, June 11, 2004, Laura Finkel interviewed Morris
Erdheim, Robert Farber, and Jeanne and Joe Logue.
