Abstract:
Notebook, ca. 1840, includes information on sorting and
scouring of wool, oiling, carding, sizing, weaving, etc. Also included in collection
is Gallup's personal account book, 1841-1844, in which he lists cash he received for
work, social events attended, etc. He also notes two people who left for Lowell,
Massachusetts.

carding, sizing, weaving, etc. Gallup indicates that "these observations extracted
from Wm. Partridge's treatise on manufacturing broadcloths and cassimeres, May A.D.
1828." Also included in collection is Gallup's personal account book, 1841-1844, in
which he lists cash he received for work, social events attended, etc. He also notes
two people who left for Lowell, Massachusetts.
