The company, a silk manufacturer, had offices in New York City. It was formerly called Belding Bros. & Co.; this company was
established in 1866 with a factory in Rockville, Connecticut. A second mill was added in
Northampton, Massachusetts, in 1874, with additional facilities in Belding, Michigan, San Francisco and Montreal, and salesrooms
and offices in New York City, Chicago and elsewhere.
Notices to stockholders, 1930-1931, concerning re-
organization. Several documents sent to stockholders by Robert Kast on letterhead of Belway Corp. Kast outlines improprieties
and mismanagement he perceives at company and provides reorganization plan. Also a letter from Belding denying Kast's allegations.
