COLLECTION DESCRIPTION

This collection consists of one bound volume, "A Study of Wholesale Trades under the National Recovery Administration." Authored by Howard Edward Abt of the Industry Studies Section, within the U.S. Department of Commerce's Office of the National Recovery Administration, Division of Review, the study was completed on March 19, 1936.
According to a note in the volume, the study is "the unedited triplicate copy of the manuscript which the author retained when the others were filed for review and publication. Such changes as will appear in the mimeographed edition were effected by editors and reviewers after the original manuscript was tendered by the author to M.D. Vincent, Coordinator of the Industry Studies Section." The volume is 547 pages.
