Franz Daniel was born in Osceola, Missouri on April 4, 1904. A graduate of the
University of Wisconsin, Daniel worked for the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of
America, the Industrial Union of Marine and Shipbuilding Workers, and the CIO. He
died on August 19, 1976, at the age of 72.
