  • Prices listed below are for guidance only.
  • Prices are per page or exposure. If possible we will attempt to put multiple pages on one exposure.
  • All orders are subject to service fees (minimum $10.00).
  • We will provide estimates for orders over $20.00 if requested. To request an estimate, contact us at rarerepro@cornell.edu.
  • Pricing is for reproduction only and does not include any fees that may be required for permission to publish or licensing of the reproductions.

Unbound materials, loose manuscripts, loose photographs, or maps

    Black and white photocopies up to 11" x 17" - $0.50

    Research quality PDF (200 dpi) up to 11" x 17" - $0.50

    Research quality JPG (300 dpi) up to 16" x 24" - $8.00 + $12.00 setup fee

    Publication quality TIF (600 dpi) up to 12" x 17" - $10.00

    Publication quality TIF (600 dpi) up to 38" x 48" - $31.00 + $12.00 setup fee

Books or bound manuscripts

    Black and white photocopies up to 8-1/2" x 11" - $1.00 + $4.00 setup fee per book

    Research quality black and white PDF (200 dpi) up to 8-1/2" x 11" - $1.00 + $4.00 setup fee per book

    Research quality JPG (300 dpi) up to 16" x 24" - $8.00 + $12.00 setup fee per book

    Publication quality TIF (150-600 dpi) up to 12" x 18" - $19.00 + $12.00 setup fee per book

    Publication quality TIF (150-600 dpi) up to 38" x 48" - $31.00 + $12.00 setup fee per book

Slides or negatives

    Slide scan, standard size up to 2400 dpi TIF - $8.00

    Slide scan, up to 4000 dpi TIF, for large reprints greater than 8" x 10" - $10.00

    Grayscale negative scanning, standard size up to 2400 dpi TIF - $7.00

    Color negative, 35mm, 120, or 4x5 sizes, up to 2400 dpi TIF - $55.00 per hour

    Non-standard sized transparency scanning, negatives, lantern slides, TIF - $55.00 per hour

Payment Information

  • An invoice will be sent with your order.
  • All payments must be made in U.S. currency.
  • Payments by cash, money order, or a check drawn on a U.S. bank can be mailed to us.
  • Payments by credit card or Cornell University account can be made by calling 607-255-3530.
  • International orders and orders over $100 must be paid in advance.
