Broadsides (sizable sheets of paper printed on one side and sheets of paper printed
on one or both sides and folded) mostly from New York State on a variety of topics.
Included are an 1844 notice of the sale of "valuable Indian lands" at public auction
in Buffalo, NY, a 1928 sanitarium menu, an appeal to purchase war savings stamps
with the slogan "Joan of Arc saved France; Women of America save your country," a
civil defense poster from the 1970s telling what to do in case of air raids or
atomic bomb attacks.
Cornell University broadsides advertising various events and lectures make up a
