Two volumes of quarterly conference meeting minutes for the
Avoca charge (1860-1894) and the Avoca circuit (1853-1862) respectively, a
membership record book (1865-1891) and a subscription book (1834-1835).

According to the historical record in volume three of this collection, the first
Methodist class in Avoca was formed in 1823. At that time it was part of the Newtown
circuit, East Genesee Conference. The church's meeting house was built in 1834 and a
parsonage was built about 1842.
