ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY

This church was set off from the First Presbyterian Church of Bath by the Bath Presbytery on October 18, 1831. A building was erected that year. The Society diminished in number until approximately 1872, when its remaining members rejoined the First Presbyterian Church of Bath. In 1874 the remaining trustees gave the church building to the Methodist Episcopal Society.
