This item was auctioned off as part of the Duveeen Lavoisier Collection in about 1963;
there is no other proof of its association with Lavoisier. It may be related to the
book Tarif général des droits dûs aux entrées de Paris (Paris, 1781), of which
Lavoisier owned a copy.
