mental hospital, "Opus N," designed by Herbert Scott Olin. Also, plans and
elevations of other buildings designed by Olin; a letter from Olin's brother, J.D.
Olin; and an explanation of the "Opus N" project.

Herbert Scott Olin graduated from Cornell University College of Architecture in 1900.
He studied in Paris for two years, and returned to the United States to practice
architecture. For a short time, he served as an instructor in Cornell's architecture
program. He won awards for submissions to several international competitions,
including one in Canberra, Australia. He died in Utica State Hospital in 1935.
