Annual reports, faculty meeting minutes, department newsletters, committee minutes, and other papers of the department; includes a history of the evolution of the department. Also, material on course syllabi, outlines and descriptions of exhibits, featuring Mary McFadden, and Jon Haggins; audiocassettes of talks by Mary Purchase and Anita Racine.

ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY

Department was formed in 1985 upon the dividing of the Department of Design and Environmental Analysis into Textile and Apparel Department and Department of Interior Design, Planning and Management; Design and Environmental Analysis had evolved from the Department of Textile and Clothing, which was formed in 1925.
COLLECTION DESCRIPTION

Annual reports, faculty meeting minutes, department newsletters, committee minutes, and other papers of the department; includes a history of the evolution of the department.
