This collection consists of a speech given by 1199 Vice President Jesse Olson on the 50th anniversary of the 1199 Pension Fund. Also included is a brief magazine profile of Mr. Olson.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Jesse Olson was born in 1924 in New York City. He was former vice presdient of 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East. He joined the staff of the union in 1959 and retired in 1984. He passed away in 2009.
