Lone Star was first founded as the El Paso Cotton Mills Company in 1923; in 1932 the
company was reorganized as Lone Star Cotton Mills, Inc. The company ceased production
after 1980.
Include aerial and ground-level views of the exterior of the Lone Star Cotton Mills
plant in El Paso, Texas. Also includes interior views featuring drawing frames, ring
spinning frames, warping machines, the winding room, and the weaving room. The photographs
were taken circa 1945.
