Ayers & Aldrich was a woolen manufacturer in Granby, Mass. It was established in the 1830's by Samuel Ayers, Jeriel Preston
and Levi Taylor; Taylor served as superintendent until 1849. The company had several
names: Taylor & Co., Ayers & Aldrich, E.F. Aldrich & Co., and C.C. Aldrich & Son. It closed sometime before 1874.
Includes financial ledgers, 1835-1869, and a journal, 1847-1850; a volume
listing wool purchases, 1853-1871; a sales record, 1850-1859; and weaving production records, 1859-1871
