TIA SCHNEIDER DENENBERG, Co-Director of Workplace Solutions, is a mediator and arbitrator who practices nationwide. She serves on conflict resolution panels of the American Arbitration Association, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the National Mediation Board, and the New York State Public Employment Relations Board. Ms. Denenberg has been appointed to six terms as a member of the U.S. Foreign Service Labor Relations Board and to a Presidential Emergency Board. The AAA has conferred on her its Distinguished Service Award (The Crystal Owl). Ms. Denenberg is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and formerly was a Director of the NAA Research and Education Foundation. She is the co-author with R.V. Denenberg of Alcohol and Other Drugs: Issues in Arbitration (BNA Books). She was elected to the board of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (2002-2005) and co chaired the organization's Dispute Resolution Section (2001-2006). In 2013, she received the LERA Outstanding Practitioner Award. A graduate of the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Ms. Denenberg served as the Jean McKelvey Neutral-in-Residence at the school in 2008-2009. Since 2000, she has been a Town Justice in New York's Hudson Valley.
