Biographical / Historical

The President's Steel Fact-Finding Board was appointed in the dispute between the steel producing subsidiaries of the United States Steel Corporation and the United Steelworkers of America, CIO. President Harry S. Truman appointed the board on December 31, 1945.
Roger I. McDonough, James M. Douglas, and Nathan P. Feinsinger (chair) served on the board.
