The map of Iceland that serves as a background for these pages is a reproduction of the map found in the second edition of Ebenezer Henderson's Iceland; or, The journal of a residence in that island, during the years 1814 and 1815, published in 1819. The published map appears on a folded leaf and traces the journeys that Henderson undertook while on the island.
