A collection of DeForest Douglas Diver, 1878-1958, railroad engineer and photographer, consisting of original photographs, glass plates and other negatives, and glossy prints, mainly of the New York, Ontario, and Western Railway. Subjects include employee groups, locomotives, passenger and freight cars, stations at Middletown and elsewhere, roundhouse and yards at Middleton, flooded and snowbound tracks, construction work and heavy equipment, the Hawk Mountain tunnel, and various wrecks. Photographs were taken by Mr. Diver and others at Cadosia, Cooks Falls, Fishs Eddy, Sidney, Delaware County; Morrisville, Oneida, Randallsville, Solsville, Madison County; Clinton, Oneida County; Constantia, Fulton, Oswego County; South New Berlin, Otsego County; Callicoon, Ferndale, Hankins, Hurleyville, Liberty, Summitville, Sullivan County.
