ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY

The church was first constituted in 1820 on April 11th as the Fourth Hector Baptist Church and was formed from members of the Baptist churches in Ulysses, Covert, and First and Second Baptist Churches of Hector. A house of worship was erected in 1838. In August, 1867 most of the members joined the North Hector Church and the church became defunct.
