Indentures, wills, deeds, and other legal documents, 1738-1838, from Deer Park, Goshen, Minisink, Hanover, Montgomery, Wallkill, and other places in Orange and Ulster Counties, New York; undated and unspecified surveyors' notations; estate settlement, investment, and personal accounts; a farm and store account book (1847-1857) of William Little of Mount Hope; loan and dowry records; recipe books; children's school exercise books; diary of Jesse W. Canfield of Pleasant Valley, New Jersey, with comments on his school days, teaching, family and friends, and his religious experience. Also, microfilmed copies of correspondence, notebooks, and genealogical research materials pertaining mainly to the Canfield, Crawford, and Purdy families, but also to the related Barclays, Ketchams, and Littles. Also includes miscellaneous items relating to Alsop, Leander, and Louisa (Canfield) Purdy, and constitution and minutes of the Mount Hope Debating Society (1 volume, 1856-1862).
