ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY

Forest Hills Gardens is a planned residential community which was developed by the Russell Sage Foundation in 1908. Laid out on 175 acres in Queens, New York, the community's site plan was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr.; many of the houses were designed by Grosvenor Atterbury.
