Became property of his wife's nephew, George E. Monroe of Dryden, N.Y. (wife's name: Annette Edgcomb of West Dryden, N.Y.).
Apparently later used as a scrapbook, the first 1/3 of the account book contains mounted newspaper clippings of prominent
men and women.

The volume contains several apparently isolated records. There is no indication as to location. The entries are in the following

owned a General Store; dated 1848, New York.
