Joseph McGinnies was a member of the New York State Assembly from 1915-1934 and speaker of the Assembly from 1925-1934.

COLLECTION DESCRIPTION

Microfilm of letters, speeches, and newspaper clippings dealing with New York State and Chautauqua County politics, mainly during the years McGinnies was a member of the Assembly. Also, one undated photograph of McGinnies in the company of Mayor James J. Walker, and two programs for a Chautauqua County testimonial dinner held in McGinnies' honor.
