Correspondence, account books, deeds, contracts, leases, mortgages, records of suits and other legal papers, U.S. Government wartime directives, clippings, maps, statistics, financial records, and miscellaneous papers pertaining to the operation of the company and its previous and subsequent names, including Hinde and Dauch Paper Company; intracompany correspondence relates to departments of the home and branch offices, executive and personnel administration, accounting, finance, insurance, taxation, stock transfers, issues and redemptions, advertising, public relations, industrial and labor relations, operation of mills, research, purchasing, wartime activities, conservation, postwar planning, housing, drought relief, and stream pollution.

The collection was acquired at different times, with each acquisition restarting the numbering of the boxes with #1 within the guide. The actual boxes are now all numbered consecutively. This means that the first acquisition may have been 202 boxes, then the item listed as Box 1 of the second acquisition, may be Box 203 in our holdings. Starting at page 291 of the PDF are charts and maps, page 293 starts the account books. Box 198 starts a later acquisition and this starts on page 295 of the PDF.
