BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Professor in the Department of Design and Environmental Analysis, Cornell University.
Jennings received a B.S. in Housing and Interior Design (1968) and a M.S. in Housing and Urban Studies (1969) both from Oklahoma State University.
Jenning's research interests focus on oridnary American buildings and interiors, as well as contemporary interior design history, theory, and criticism.

This project, initiated in 1997, creates a typology of contemporary interior design practices that are derived from reiterative historical designs that span time and style and cultural boundries.
