COLLECTION DESCRIPTION

This collection features art projects and assignments created in the studio and left behind by students. Mann Library acquired these artworks when Prof. Jack Lambert informed the library the studio was closing due to the renovation of the Mann Library building. Included in the collection are proofs and scratchboards done by former instructors Elizabeth Burckmyer and Ann Elliot. Prof. Burckmyer illustrated “The Makers of Honey,” written by Mary Geisler Phillips, and Ann Elliot designed brochures for various academic departments at Cornell.
