ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY

The College Council was established in 1897 for the "making of rules and ordinances for the administration of the State Veterinary College and for the distribution...of the funds thereof." The original Council consisted of the University President, the Treasurer and Director of the College and two members of the faculty.
