Strong primarily consist of reports, correspondence, drafts, minutes, and printed material relating to his work in electrical engineering, especially illumination and engineering education; notes, sketches, and laboratory notebooks used by Strong as a student at M.I.T. in the 1920s; materials concerning the Illuminating Engineering Research Institute; correspondence of Ella and Everett Strong; correspondence, newsletters, and membership rosters pertaining to the U.S. Power Squadrons and the local chapter, the Ithaca Power Squadron (boating organizations); and 34 audio tapes.
