ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY

The U.S. Secretary of Labor appointed Industry Committee 31 to consider the question of minimum wage rates for the Puerto Rican industries included in Administrative Order #483 issued on May 22, 1957 and hearings were begun on July 8, 1957.
