The Trotskyist faction of the Socialist Party of America (SPA) formed this political organization after it was expelled from the SPA in 1937.
Consist chiefly of reports and publications of the Socialist Workers Party and its subdivision, the Socialist Youth League.
Reports of the Socialist Workers Party's national convention (1946) include resolutions, reports on socialism, on party strategy, on the history of the 4th International on the Russian Communist Party and on capitalism.
Reports of the Socialist Youth League include the NATIONAL SECRETARY ORGANIZATION REPORT (1945), the INFORMATION BULLETIN (1945) and MONTHLY EDUCATION CALENDAR (January, 1946). These include information on conferences, party strategy and activities of the Socialist Youth League and local party sections; also reports on union activities.
Also 2 volumes of THE SOCIALIST APPEAL, (1938-1939), the weekly newspaper of the Socialist Workers Party.
