Records accumulated by the Western, Eastern and Southeastern Carriers Conference Committees which served as the collective bargaining units for the member railroads in their jurisdictions prior to the establishment of the National Railway Labor Conference.
Records include correspondence, minutes, reports, transcripts, exhibits, and arbitration awards relating to the carrier conference committees, the operating and non-operating craft unions with whom they negotiated and the various government agencies which regulate the railroad industry.
