The awards and opinions were rendered for the New York City transportation system for which Kheel served as an impartial chairman and arbitrator.

COLLECTION DESCRIPTION

The arbitration awards and opinions were rendered chiefly in the matter of arbitration between Local 100, Transport Workers Union of America vs. the New York City Transit Authority for cases chiefly involving differential pay, sick leave, sick leave with pay, overtime, and other issues.
Additionally, there are arbitration awards and opinions rendered for the Amalgamated Association of Street, Electric Railway and Motor Coach Employees of America vs. New York City Transit Authority; Amalgamated Transit Union (Divisions 1056, 726, 1511) vs. New York City Transit Authority; and Local 100, Transport Workers Union of America vs. a number of independent suburban bus corporations.
